Geocache Description:

We will be archiving this cache soon. It will be physically pulled on Friday, August 29th, 2008.

Located in The Pines Park east of Manistique, just off US-2. This is a great place for traveling cachers to stop for a picnic lunch or just to stretch your legs for awhile. There are soccer fields, a basketball court, horseshoe pits (bring your own horseshoes though), a small playground, grills, a pavillion and picnic tables.

*NOTICE* The coordinates for this cache have been updated.

The cache container is a small coffee can wrapped in black electrical tape. The original contents of the cache are: Cartoon Network temporary tattoos, a horse, a hunting license holder, dart flights, a band-aid dispenser, a mini-highlighter, and of course a log book with pen and pencil. The driveway for the park is gated during the winter months, but you can park next door at the county airport parking lot (it won't cost you anything). This cache could be found in the winter if the snow isn't too deep, but you may want to strap on a pair of snowshoes when you leave the parking lot.
