The Devil went down to Georgia to pillage,
plunder and destroy everything in his path his name, General
William Tecumseh Sherman. Residents of Henry County having lived
through General Killpatrick's raiders knew that trouble was coming.
General killpatricks raiders had gone through the town of
McDonough, where they stole from the people and even dug up bodies
in the City cemetery to steal jewelry. This cache is dedicated to
the men and women of Henry County Georgia who went through a lot of
hardships to protect their families and their land in the war for
Southern independence.
There are many accounts of lost Confederate gold
in Georgia and throughout the South. So while you are out looking
for a geocache please keep this in mind you may never know what you
will run into.
The coordinates above will lead you to a unique
gravestone, you will gather information from this gravestone to do
a simple math problem that will lead you to the lost Confederate
gold of Henry County Georgia.

Colonel anywhere in the vicinity of the above
coordinates.
N33 24.??? use the last three numbers of the
colonel's birth year and add 140 this will give you the last three
numbers of the coordinates.
W084 00.??? used the last three numbers of the
colonel's death year and subtract 731 this will give you the last
three numbers of the coordinates.
These coordinates will lead you to the lost
