A decon container just off the Old Growth Trail in Nisene Marks State Park. A short hike to the cache will take you right near "The Advocate." One of the oldest trees in the park and currently the largest at 13 feet in diameter with a 45 foot circumference.
Terrain would be a two but there is a seasonal bridge that is NOT THERE between October and May. While it's gone you'll need to rock-hop across the creek. We did it without getting wet, but don't recommend doing it after a good rain. There is a wonderful picnic spot along the way, right on the creek and complete with a picnic table.
NOTE: This is a State Park so there is a daily entrance fee (currently $6.00) or an Annual Pass required for entrance.
There's a great trail map here, although it doesn't drill down on this area very well. You can pick up a better map of this area at the trailhead.
FTF Prize: Geocaching zipper-pull/compass.
Update January 2017: The Advocate has fallen! The winter storms have taken this giant down but it is still a sight to see.
