I love music!
A huge, wide area of the metroplex is included as the hiding
territory of the sandbass clan. However, there is one area that has
so far been denied these hides. Fort Worth. The royal ones do not
hide west of 820.
With a nod from the sandbassking, I am hiding caches in the Fort
Worth area, with cache names and pages following the same form as
their hides, that being song titles and lyrics.
Now, song lyric caches will extend the breadth of the entire
metroplex, from the eastern edge over to the western limits.
The songs I select will be ones that have had impact in my life. If
there existed a soundtrack for my life, past and present, these
songs would be included.
This song, named "Heatseeker", is performed by AC/DC. I'm not going
to talk a lot about these Australian masters of powerful
bang-it-out rock and roll. I won't try to compare the talents of
Brian Johnson and Bon Scott (RIP), who both have (had in Scott's
case) amazing singing voices that sound like were partly developed
by gargling everyday with a mixture of ground glass and whiskey. I
won't go into the talents of the Young brothers either, nor will I
discuss Angus' on-stage antics and school uniform.
AC/DC. A train wreck when you look at their "normalcy". But they
pump out awesome music. Over and over again.
Some bands "work" to be outlaws [cough]motley crue[/cough]. They
just don't have it.
AC/DC ain't about image. They just want to make hard-hitting, fun
music and enjoy it. Money and all the other commercial sh** is
secondary to rock and roll and having fun.
I guess I said I wasn't going to talk much about AC/DC, and now
here I am, having gone off on that.
I'll just say that the music is just so fun and entertaining. I'll
just say that I love to listen to certain AC/DC tunes at a volume
that makes my rear-view mirrors shake.
I love it when my rear-view mirrors shake.
And that's all I'll say about that.
The cache is very easily accessible, by driving up to it and
grabbing it. Your 97-year-old grandma could find it, without her
spectacles. If she found it while listening to "Whole Lotta Rosie",
so much the better.
And now, after forcing my opinion upon you all, I leave you with
the lyrics to "Heatseeker" by AC/DC.
Oooh, we're gettin' ready...
Here we go,
Ha ha ha,
I'm ready!
Getting ready to rock,
Getting ready to roll,
I'm gonna turn up the heat,
I'm gonna fire up the coal!
I gotta keep that motor turning,
I gotta keep that engine clean,
I gotta keep those tires burning,
I've got the best you've ever seen!
And I'm a heatseeker,
Charging up the sky.
And I'm a heatseeker, and I,
I don't need no life preserver,
I don't need no one to hose me down,
To hose me down...
Getting ready to break,
Getting ready to go,
Get your shoes off and shake,
Get your head down and blow.
You gotta keep that woman firing,
You gotta keep that serpent clean,
You gotta make her sound the siren,
You gotta hear that lady scream.
Cause I'm a heatseeker,
Burning up the town,
And I'm a heatseeker, I don't,
I don't need no life preserver,
Don't hose me down!
I wanna see you get up,
And see the whites of your eyes,
And I'm a heatseeker, heatseeker, yeah!
I'm gonna measure you up,
I'm gonna try you for size,
And I'm a heatseeker!
Gotta keep that motor turning,
You gotta keep that engine clean,
You gotta keep those tires burning,
I've got the best you've ever seen!
And I'm a heatseeker,
And I don't need no life preserver,
I don't need no one to hose me down.
I'm a heatseeker,
And I'm a heatseeker,
Heatseeker!
Out on the street feel the heat!
