IMPORTANT: The given coordinates get you to the park, but nothing more. They are NOT correct for finding stage 1.
This cache will get you thinking as well as looking. Each stage of this mystery cache contains at least one letter and number combination that you'll need to solve the final puzzle. Be sure to record this info as you progress! Most stages will also give you coordinates to the next 2 stages. This was done to allow you to hunt in a non-linear fashion in case of muggles. You will need to find all the stages to score the final hide, however they don't have to be done in order.
The first stage of this puzzle is called "Signs of the Pack". Locate an object with 3 signs, 9 lines total fitting that description, then use the words there to assign letters to these numbers:
Line 2, Word 1, Letter 2 = 6
Line 1, Word 1, Letter 1 = 1
Line 3, Word 1, Letter 3 = 6
Line 2, Word 2, Letter 7 = 3
Line 5, Word 1, Letter 2 = 5
Line 5, Word 2, Letter 1 = 5
Line 8, Word 1, Letter 3 = 8
Line 1, Word 3, Letter 1 = 4
Line 2, Word 1, Letter 6 = 4
Once you get the letters, unscramble them into a word. The numbers will then be in order for you to put them into these coordinates for stage 2: N40 1x.xxx W76 xx.xxx
The puzzle you'll complete as you find the various stages of this cache is identical to the one above, except with a different word. The letters/numbers you use above are NOT the same for the second puzzle, so don't try to use them to solve it.
Due to the number of stages, the walking distance, and some of the rather unusual hides, experienced cachers should allow 1 to 2 hours to complete this cache.
NOTES: At no point during this hunt do you need to open any electrical utility boxes -- there are no fake ones in this hide. Watch out for muggles, too, they're everywhere. Always look full circle before grabbing a hide. This park closes at 11:00 PM on weekdays, and 11:30 PM on weekends & holidays. Please hunt only during legal hours. No dogs are allowed in the park. You might want to bring a tweezers to aid in putting your hands on one of the stages.
EXTRA HINTS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN IF A DNF IS LOGGED.
SNOW INFO:
Some stages can be difficult if there is snow on the ground, and the amount of walking between stages would be difficult in a few inches of snow. So if it snows, play elsewhere.
