Very near a concrete bridge the crosses the South Fork of the Toutle River.
Come for a drive in the wilderness. This is my first cache and I wanted it off the beaten trail, but easy to drive to with your grand mothers old Buick. This is also one of my favorite places. The South Fork of the Toutle River is beautiful and is accessed by 4100 logging road. The drive is 2.6 miles from Toutle on South Toutle Road to a well traveled gravel road, then up that road along the river for 7.6 miles (be aware of rocks in the roadway). A gate across the target bridge prevents you traveling any further. The river is in a valley so satellite reception is minimal. Happy Hunting.
