Gentlemen, start your engines! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

L64FD: Done with geocaching. Tired of the people's attitudes here in California, tired of nasty e-mails because they made a bad decision. Too bad arrogant dumb-asses ruined this fun activity. So long.

Geocache Description:

This should be a very easy cache with ample parking nearby. Limited intruders unless you come on Saturday afternoon/evening March thru October.

Cache is a small Rubbermaid container approx. 2" x 10" x 6" and contains, at placement, a logbook, pen, photos of the events held here, 8.5" x 11" print-outs of the history and present of this cache-site, and numerous goodies.

December 6, 1969, was not a good date for this site. 1 person was killed and 3 others died accidentally at this post-Woodstock event.

Famous visitors to this site include the Grateful Dead, the Rolling Stones, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, Crosby Still Nash & Young, and the Flying Burrito Brothers.

Now, many amatuer celebrities make their dreams start here every Saturday from March to October.
