Cache is a small cannister accessible from the parking area after a short (0.2 mile) hike through an open oak woods.
The cache is located in the City of Charleston's newest park, the Woodyard Conservation Area. The park consists of an asphalt parking area, an open grassy area with several covered picnic areas, and an extensive wooded area (mostly oak) near Lake Charleston. The wooded area contains some surprisingly deep and steep ravines with a forest canopy that has kept the undergrowth to a minimum making for relatively easy hiking.
