Geocache Description:

Over the Hills and Far Away

Hey lady--you got the love I need
Maybe more than enough.
Oh darling... walk a while with me

Mellow is the man
Who knows what he’s been missing
Many many men
Can’t see the open road.
Many is a word
That only leaves you guessing
Guessing ’bout a thing
You really ought to know, ooh!
You really ought to know
I really ought to know!
Oooh, you know I should, you know I should, you know I should...

This is a longer than usual multi through one of the nicer parks in the South Metro. Please be sure to abide by all posted signs especially those pertaining to groomed cross-country ski trails.

The first stage is an engraved wooden sign near the parking area for the cache. Take the engraved word at the top of the middle post and convert it to numbers by adding up the value of each letter with the method (A=1, B=2, Z=26). Call that value "SUM". If you have mobile web access (including WAP capable mobile phones) you can use the utility located here to calculate the total for you.

Second stage is located at: N44° 40.(SUM - 80) W093° 18.(SUM + 683) -- Please note that if SUM is a two digit number you are to make it a three digit number by adding a 0 to the front of SUM (i.e. 099)

Several of the intermediate stages are micro containers that shouldn't be terribly difficult to locate. Please note that you will not have to cross over any barbed wire fences to retrieve the caches. The final cache is a well hidden and well cammoed ammo box.

Expect to spend at least one and a half hours searching for this cache. No mountain bikes are permitted and hikers must NOT use the groomed cross-country ski trails to access the cache during the winter.
