A small cache hidden on in some rough terrain in the Matopo National Park
This is the first Cache hidden By Murungu and his team of Dad and Julie. We hid this cache on our ‘Round Zimbabwe’ holiday trip in December 2004. The cache is hidden in the Matopo National Park. The route we used to get to the cache took us past Malemi Dam and through the camp site along a road that was passable in a truck but not really suitable for small cars to a suitable parking at

The rest of the route is marked with white arrows painted on the rocks and several cairns, but keep your eyes peeled it is not clear all the way and you may end up doing a bit of bush-whacking!
The view from the top is brilliant, the cache not far away from the cross with really good satellite reception we trust you should find the cache without too much difficulty.
Just a word of warning, the hill is quite high and in stormy weather quite a lightning magnet, we had static build up on our cans so we decided to gap it, then it rained and became really slippy!
The cache is a small plastic jar so only small swops available and because this was a spur of the moment hide there is only one sheet of paper to log your visit. Enjoy this cache and look out for a few more in the not too distant future
Ciao
