This cache is lame, it's only an altoids tin with a makeshift log and a magnet to hold it in place. The reason I'm bringing you here is to show you one of Long Islands more infamous houses. The house that spawned the book, 'The Amityville Horror,' and in turn, the movie. Of course the book and the movie took some liberties with the story to make sure it sells, but the facts as told by the people involved would stand your hair on end.

For obvious reasons I placed the cache further down the road but you'll do a drive-by on your way to the cache. Please be respectful as it is a private residence ... the house, not the hiding spot. Turn south off Montauk Highway, onto Ocean Avenue. The first stop sign (the second cross street) is S. Ireland Pl. The former Lutz residence is the white house on the Northwest corner of that intersection. I found this a little strange and you might too, or you might just think I'm strange, either way when I got the coordinates for the house off Microsoft S&T, the North coordinates came up as 40.66650. (It only gives me deg.dec) I don't know maybe that set of three sixes in a row is just a coincidence but if it's not, it's telling me that maybe I shouldn't be messing with this stuff ... you tell me. Do you believe any of this stuff happened or were we just crop circled?
