TheWeatherWarrior: I've had to return to Maryland due to medical reasons, and won't be returning for awhile. This is a great area, but a geocache makes for a good excuse to visit this spot even more.

I've archived this cache and it won't likely return for a long time, if ever. If I return to Miami Beach living, it'll be with a lot more money....police extortion gets expensive.

Geocache Description:

OK, so what does a new South Beach resident due when he moves here...he tries to find a way to get geocacher's to hang out on the beach. This one should be real easy. And hopefully it will last...since there wasn't a real good hiding spot. I little exposed so try to play it off like your taking a rest in the grass.

Bring quarters....only metered parking is around (hey, it's South Beach). Located in/around South Point Park where there should be plenty of parking. There's also a benchmark nearby.

The container is clear plastic 3" diameter and about 6" tall. Labelled well and somewhat easily hidden. I don't know how long this cache will last since it's rather open to public view and the pring eyes of nearby condo residents.

Only a few prizes are inside...first finder should find a Shot glass with the Miami on it.
