This is a cache that should be a pretty easy find with a short walk in the woods.
This cache is located on the grounds of our local Youth Foundation and is placed with permission. It is a pretty park with many baseball fields and some wooded areas. This cache is out of site to people at the park to take in a ball game so it should be safe to go after most anytime. If you are caching with an avid ballplayer bring your glove and a ball and take the time for a game of catch! It is a complement to my son Slugger10’s cache that may be hard to hunt if ballgames or practices are going on.
The cache itself has many possible ways to go about locating. You can either park at the ballpark and walk your way into the woods or park off the road behind the ballpark and follow the old closed road into the area. Scout out your best route to where your GPS is leading you, the direct path may not be the easiest. There are thorny vines and thick underbrush in the area, but you do not have to go thru it to locate the cache. I hope you enjoy the challenge! Remember when ever your at the ballpark heads up! Watch for flying balls!!!
