The monument was dedicated on October AB,(CDEF) for those who died in the Virden Riot of(GHIJ). This monument also bears the name of Mother Jones, who is a very special person to all miners. Mother Jones was born May 1,(LMNO), and passed away on Nov. PQ,(RSTU).
