Geocache Description:

Located in a local sports park. This is a newer, undeveloped area of the park.

Located in Frank Brown Park this should be an easy cache for most. We had thought about putting a micro here just to let visitors know about the park, but decided on a traditional since there were plenty of hiding places.

- This is a great park with something for almost everyone. Several softball fields are surrounded by soccer fields, football fields and a basketball court.

- For the younger ones there is playgound with plenty of things to do.

- Weaving through the fields is a paved walking track with a new loop around a small lake.

- The lake is stocked with fish so bring your pole and stay a while.

- Several new items are in the plan for the future including a new aquatic center and several miles of walking trails.

- The area near the cache has become a popular spot for RC plane enthusiasts. The first time we went to plant this cache we watched someone crash their plane very near where we were planning to plant the cache. Since a group of people decided to search for the wreakage, we had to abandon our hide for the day. Thus the name Crash Zone.

Special events are held in the park from time to time. When this happens there may be a fee to enter the park. This only happens 2 or 3 times a year.
