Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in Kanawha Riflemens Park along Kanawha Boulevard. The listed coordinates are for the memorial not the cache itself. The cache is hidden nearby in the park.

This is an easy drive-up and park (maybe too easy) for a cache find and also the first we've placed. It is an easy exit off I-64 for travelers too. Please replace the cache exactly as found so it doesn't become a gimme for the next person. Just leave the lid of the cache in place because it's hard to replace. Just unsnap the body to retrieve the log and sign it. Watch out for muggles because they will be watching you. Must use extreme stealth!

This is a micro with log and only room for 1 or 2 very small items. Bring own pen/pencil.

Original contents are: Rhinestone bracelet and
2 coins from the Cayman Islands

This hint for the cache location should solve it for you.…...the three tall brothers from up North have the Mr. Covered. If you want it real easy see the encryption.

This small park was known as Ruffner Park back in the 60's when I was growing up in the east end of Charleston. I didn't know it had been renamed in honor of the riflemen until driving by recently and decided to stop and check out as a possible cache location. It is the burial place of Joseph & Anna Ruffner, early settlers of the Kanawha Valley. Take time to walk among the several trees and markers of the park. It is an enjoyable spot.
