Located in Cornwall Hollow, this cache starts at a monument to past local resident, Major General John Sedgwick. Born at Cornwall, CT, Killed at Spotsylvania, VA, May 1864.
Bring pen/pencil and paper to find this cache.
On the side of the cannon where it touches the stone there is a date stamped into the metal. You may have to brush snow away in the winter. those 4 digits are ABCD.
