Geocache Description:

This is accessed via a dike into which river silt is blown. One can park at any of the entrances (so long as you don't block them) but across from the soccer field on Wingate Drive is best. The cords have been corrected for clear skies since initial posting

The roads go all the way around so you can take the short way or long way to the cache. I have driven a four wheel drive vehicle, a two wheel drive car (if it's been dry), bikes, a stroller, snowmobile and sleds (locals use the dike for sledding). Occasional ATV's can be seen in the area. The road is fairly even packed dirt but don't stray off the dike road in a car because inside is blown in silt and you may sink if it’s a fresh batch. The road gets muddy with just a spit of rain.

The cache is an ammo box.

REMEMBER TO WEAR BRIGHT COLORS. This is rural NJ and shooters can be found anywhere. (I was almost paint balled here a few years ago) There is a range nearby so don't be too afraid of all the echoing shots you might hear on the weekends.
