Geocache Description:

Located near The Wayfarers Walk.

This cache forms part of the Wayfarer's Walk series, started by Dogastus.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Wayfarer's Walk is a long distance path which starts at Inkpen Beacon, this is also an end point of The Test Way. It is close to the site of Combe Gibbet and follows a meandering route to Emsworth, some 70 miles distant. The path starts in Berkshire, but most of it is in the county of Hampshire. The path runs close to the highest points in both Berkshire and Hampshire as witnessed by the nearby trig points. Parts of the walk can get muddy and deeply rutted whereas other parts are an easier terrain. I hope you enjoy the wonderful views from this scenic path.

Please note that none of the caches require that you climb over fences other than by stiles. Also be aware of any electrified fences.

I would recommend parking at either N51 14.725 W001 13.015 or N51 14.250 W001 11.320
Hidden in a small piece of woodland between the villages of Oakley and Deane, you will be looking for a standard ammo box with an official geocaching sticker.
On certain summer weekends you may get to see a mainline steam train go past on the nearby railtrack. See www.steamdreams.com for further details of the steam trains.
