Located near an alpine lake approx 25K off State Highway 8, the last 5 km or so on well maintained gravel.
Wonderful fishing! Several camps with basic facilities are in the area, also a new motel 5 km further down the gravel.
There is an easy way and a more difficult way to reach the cache, depending on whether you really love fighting the gorse and mangatouri.
Cache is a 1 litre cliplock container initially containing:
