OReviewer: It has come to my attention that this cache has been modified. The adoption process is NOT for redoing a cache the way you want, it is to adopt a pre-existing cache the way it is. If you wanted to make this into a 5 stage multi, the proper thing to do would have been to let this be archived and then place a new cache. This way circumvents the reviewer process which is not why adoption is in place.

As such, this cache is being archived to allow you to list the cache properly via the hide and seek page. Further, for archival reasons, I would appreciate if you changed this cache page back to how it was when you found it.

Geocache Description:

After adopting Treetop II from Gargoyle I thought I would make it a longer multi... it's now 5 stages... I got the general idea from a cache that I think is in New York. Bring a pencil and paper.

The given coordinates should take you to a beech tree beneath the Toleration statue.

1) Above eye level on the tree is a box with the phrase "ES & _ _". If the second set of initials is MR, add 3 to the N coords and subtract 44 from the W coords. If it's JT, add 17 to the N coords and subtract 26 from the W coords.

2) At the new coords, find the names "Sue & ____". If the second name is "Fred", add 11 to the N coords from step 1 and add 17 to the W coords. If it's "Curt", add 36 to the N coords and add 4 to the W coords.

3) At those coords, at eye level are the initials "__ & C.S." If the first set of initials is RF, add 12 to the N coords from step 2 and subtract 48 from the W coords. If it's TT, add 41 to the N coords and subtract 16 from the W coords.

4) At the step 3 coords, at the bottom of the tree is a name. If the name is Lily, add 4 to the N coords in step 3 and subtract 25 from the W coords. If the name is Alex, add 25 to the N coords and subtract 2 from the W coords.
These are the coords of the final cache, which is my standard deli-type container with a logbook and a few trade items.
