Geocache Description:

This is a multi-cache. The starting coordinates are at the site of the 1996 Olympic Beach Volley Ball competition. Caches are on or near hiking/mountain bike trails. All are within a short distance of parking lots.

Each of the waypoints leads you to the next. The first is for the dogs. The next two are small plastic containers. The last is an ammo box with the “goodies.” Each of the caches is on or near the hiking/bike trails and a short walk from parking. Terrain difficulty is much easier for this option. The more adventurous will follow the trails through the park. Straight line distance is about 0.6 mile. However, the trails are switchbacks that can double or triple the distance.
From May until September, there is a $3.00 parking fee for entry. Every Monday is free and they usually do not charge before 8:00 AM and after 6:00 PM. September to May is free. If you want to avoid the fee, there is a dirt lot outside the fence in the SW corner of the site. Follow the sidewalk along the fence to the pedestrian gate. This will add 1.5 miles to your trek.

********Congratulations to Hans and Feet for the FTF********

*Kudos to birds of a feather for an FTF at the new ending*
