Located in Bowmont Natural Environment Park. Pretty easy hike right down to the river with moderate elevation change.
We wanted to place a cache right along the river. This is a beautiful spot -- with geese, beavers and, yes, lots of crazy chickadees. Bring some bread crumbs along. In winter, the little guys down here will eat right out of your hand.
You can approach this cache two ways. You can park at the corner of Varsity Road and 40th Avenue NW (N51.05.489 W114.10.299). Alternately, you can approach from the bike path along the river.
The container is a clear plastic Lock-n-Lock box.
