Library Lot Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

-Rusty-: Greetings,

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Thank you,

Rusty...

Geocache Description:

This is a 3-stage, multi-cache on undeveloped public land owned by the local library in Grand Haven, Michigan. You will need a pencil and paper to write coordinates. Please stay on trails to the extent possible to preserve the fragile sand dune environment. Coordinates for the southern edge of parking lot are: N 43deg, 02.683; W086deg,13.427.

My first hide is an ammo box. The waypoint takes you to the first part of the first stage which is one of 3 nearly identical objects on the 9-acre lot. You will get the coordinates for Stage Two from the other two of these objects. There are coordinates for the ammo box at Stage Two.

Original contents include: a ziplock bag with log and pencil; TB Library Ladybug, embarking on her journey; TB Sherlock Troll, continuing his; 2 cigar tubes containing Killer Caddis fishing flies, size #12 ; a handmade tile; a bow tie; a library coupon; two soon-to-become-valuable Cotner for Judge buttons; GR Griffins and Rampage 2005 schedules; 2 small (empty) wooden cigar boxes; Donkey Kong game; pen; pencil; matches; incense; and two paperbacks ("Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "The Odessa File"). Bring a book or some other treasure for others. Leave a record of your visit in the log.
