A not-so-scenic Griffith Park spot between the zoo and the Toyon Canyon landfill.
Third in a series in the less visited northern section of Griffith Park. Prime opportunity for CITO! As with all the Griffith Park caches, there are myriad parking locations, access points and trail loop possibilities. I'll leave it up to you. Be sure to pick up the nearby Skyline I, Skyline II, and Skyline Summit caches. Take a lesiurely 2 hour tour or, use your geosenses, follow the paths of least resistance and go for a cache and dash trifecta in under 30 minutes!
Cache is a small 5x8 tupperware container and is well-covered to avoid detection by the local yobbos, who, judging by the quality and quantity of litter, seem to favor this locale for inducing their inebriation. Please re-cover as found so it may remain unplundered. Initial contents include: CITO bag, a water wiggle, a Burbank City yo-yo, plush bookmark, snake pen, seeds, etc.
Caution: ticks, rattlesnakes and mountain lions are known to inhabit the area. Enjoy the walk!
