Geocache Description:


Placed cache along Metacomet trail at site of old Nike Air defense base. You can still see the remains of the concrete slabs where they parked the mobile missile launchers. The trail runs along the top of Pinnical Ridge from Rt 372 to Rt6 in Farmington. There are lots of great views along the way. Check out N41.41.425 W072.49.966 for a great view of Plainville\Bristol. Great place to go rock climbing. Watch pets and children near the cliffs.

Cache is an Ammo Box.
