Easy little hike depending on where you stop.It's right next to a little stream, but don't cross it and make sure you stay on the left side of it.DO NOT CROSS!!
If you want to see a really beautiful view, park at the hill at dam where it has the Hearthstone Lake sign. It's an easy climb to the top and once you get to the top stay on the left side of the lake. If you just want a fast find then keep going down the road to where the brown sign that says Hearthstone lake and turn. This puts you on the opposite side of the lake,closer to the cache. Watch out though because sometimes that road may be a bit flooded.
