The cache is located in a unique pocket wilderness in Lawrence. There are some unmarked trails that are accessible from the south edge of the area. I haven't tried to access the cache from this direction, though I'd be interested to hear someone's account of this.
That said, there is an easy way and a hard way to access this cache. The terrain rating given is for the easy way, and the rating for the hard way is 4 to 4.5 (with the creek low; might be impassable during high water), but the distance is only 50ish ft. I'll leave it to you, the cacher, to read the logs and make the best choice for yourself.
The cache is an ammo container with the "Official Geocache" sticker on it. And, I know you already know this, please make sure it gets put back as is! Happy hunting!
