It was the quote heard 'round the world and the inspiration behind the "Get a life... GO GEOCACHING!" shirt that MiGO keeps in its store.
 
 
Frank's unprofessional and ill conceived comments actually ended up providing us with a lot of positives.  A closer sense of community.  That cool shirt.  A nifty themed cache.  And now, a reason to get together and have a life together once per year!
 
In commemoration of the one year anniversary of the newscast heard 'round the Geoworld, I hereby declare March 1 "Get A Life Day".  To this end, we're going to have a geocacher's gathering in the Lake Orion area.  A laid back night of story swappin', bug swappin' and gadget showin'.
 
UPDATE
 We will be meeting at Ruby Tuesday on Lapeer Road for this event.  I will update the coordinates for the cache page tonight (2/23) after 9pm so check back then for coordinates.  If you would like, here is a link to the Yahoo Yellow Pages information:
