#2 in my series of 5 caches placed in a large DNR area of logging roads close to my home. Access via Mero Rd and 89 SE about 6 miles North of Monroe. Park at the gate or proceed at your own risk if it's open.
This cache is #2 and in an area that my daughter Jessica loves to watch for wildlife. You are looking for a round 6 inch camo container. Large meadow with a stream and beaver ponds. Located about 1/4 mile from the gate, so a easy walk. You'll be on a gravel road for most of the distance. Find the old logging road on your right and 100 ft. of game trail will lead you to the beaver ponds and open meadow. Summer time there may be some bushwacking if you miss the trail in. When you continue on the road you will shortly come to a Y. Right turn leads you to #3 Peaties Prize. Left takes you to #4 Rock Quarry Music Box and Woods Creek Bonus. There may be active logging going on, so be careful on the road and don't block the gate.
