Geocache Description:

 

Lake San Antonio Green & Brown

This cache is in the North Shore Campground at Lake San Antonio in Montery County.

This cache is a sister cache to our Lake San Antonio Red, White & Blue (Waypoint GCK63C) which was designed for water-loving cachers. This cache, Lake San Antonio Green & Brown, is readily available to land-lubbers. The catch is named for the area of the placement which is Green & Brown, as opposed to the on lake cache of Red, White & Blue.

The cache is inside the North Shore Camping area of Lake San Antonio. There is an entrance fee; however, the county staff will usually allow you to drive around to check out the campground without charge. Head to "B" loop to start your search.

Enjoy the cache and enjoy the views. Take a few minutes to walk down to the lake. If you are there in the early morning or late afternoon, you may bump into deer grazing on the grass or headed down to the lake for a drink.
