Geocache Description:

Quick find off main highway in City Memorial Park

The city of Stamford, Texas, which is home of the annual Texas Cowboy Reunion, is rich in western history. Take time to read the plaque near this cache site. Besides, there needed to be a cache somewhere between Anson and Wichita Falls on highway 277! You are looking for a small rubbermaid (slightly cammoed, was in a hurry) container which will hold small items, has log and pencil. The terrain rating is only because there are a couple of steps and not completely wheelchair accessable. Please be sure to replace as found for the next cacher.
