Party to celebrate the 1000 cache milestone for Horsegeeks and JackCacheNC!

Triangle Area Geocachers don't really need an excuse for a party, but they're always ready to party when there is an excuse ... or two. Please join us at 6pm Sunday, Feb 27 to celebrate the 1000-cache milestone for two of our local caching teams, Horsegeeks and JackCacheNC. New cachers are definitely welcome - come meet and greet your fellow cachers, and swap stories about favorite caching experiences. Just don't believe everything you hear!

El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant is located on Pleasant Valley Road, just off Hwy 70, at the above coordinates. We'll be in the private room upstairs - come and join us! Afterward... the restaurant is amazed by how many people we fit into that room and a good time was had by all. Congratulations, Horsegeeks & JackCacheNC!!

HexTheKiwi will be collecting new Travel Bugs at the event to take to New Zealand for a race back to the triangle. For rules and other information, see the race website at http://home.nc.rr.com/nckiwis/TBRace2005.html. Note that these bugs should *not* be checked into this event. All other bugs that you wish to trade or to send to NZ for mileage but not for the race are welcome to be checked in here.
