Miss Steele: Unfortunately, this cache page has been archived due to the lack of a timely maintanence resolution. If the owner would like to have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile within 10 days, referencing the GC code and name of the cache. Please note that un-archiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and look forward to seeing more of your caches up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a camoflaged Folger's coffee container. The terrain is such that it may vary with the season and the wrath of mother nature but generally should be a fairly easy walk.

This is the second cache in a series of caches I am loosely basing on the JRR Tolkien book "The Hobbit" AKA "There And Back Again"
Each Cache in this series will contain a clue that will be necessary to have in order to find a future cache. (designated by a multi-cache icon) It will be beneficial to write down each clue as you find the cache and keep it for future use. I hope to avoid patterns which will make future caches predictable. As all caches are found (not necessarily in order) the clues in them will ultimately lead to a final cache. Remember the placement of these caches is based on my intrepretation of the book -and having to work within the limitations and my knowledge of the local area. I will give a general clue for each cache based on the story.

The second chapter of "The Hobbit" has Bilbo and his friends finding themselves in the company of a trio of Trolls. Now trolls are hard to find in this country so I had to go with early memories and fell back on the story of the "Three Billy Goats Gruff". I, then, searched around the area (a phonebook map can be a wonderful thing) for some thing that would help with this hide, and I found a great area.

My questions for you are:
1. What did the trolls in "The Hobbit" turn into when the sun came up?
2. Where did the 3 goats encounter their troll?

(1)_____________(2)______________
Find one of these and you should be in the area of the
cache!
