Geocache Description:

This is the eighth in the adotpion series of caches by The Federation. This cache has a bit of special memory for The Fed. Just across the street is a haunted house that another infamous cacher lived in as a small boy. Th stories he told me and Paintfiction were scary to say the least.

The Finding Irish were a big part of the early development of caching on the West Side of the river. They have since left active caching and have allowed their caches to be adopted out. In true Number Ho fashion in honor of our Friends The Irish, rather than adopt the caches I am archiving them and relisting them so everyone can log them again. As you find these caches please remember our friends The Finding Irish and their contribution to NEFGA. From the orignal cache page: This is your typical film canister micro. Difficulty will be increased because of the tree canopy. We had to rough out an average for the coordinates, so we will give plenty of clues. We turned down this street on a whim and drew in a breath. I LOVE this street! I just get great joy out of such simply beauty, I guess. The purpose of this cache is to share the beauty with you. Retrieval of the cache will be difficult for two reasons (on top of the poor sat reception). 1) Muggles--there is a tourist attraction nearby 2) Film canister is in a tight spot When you locate the cache, it is probably best to remove the lid, remove the log and then remove the rest of the cache. After you have put the cache back together PLEASE be sure to return it UPSIDE DOWN so the lid is on the under-side. Hope you enjoy the view. The Finding Irish Florida Caching
