Our first cache placement. I hope you enjoy it.
Park at N 51 00.603 W 114 13.147
A relatively new Natural Environment Park on the west side of Calgary. I hope you'll take time to explore the pathways. Dogs are allowed, on leash only. Restoration of the natural environment is underway, after years of being a working ranch. There's no need for much bushwacking as the cache is about 40 meters off one of the main trials. There's plenty of signs of animal life here, as it's a wildlife corridor. Signs of deer and rabbit in the brush, lots of birds (owls as well), muskrat and beaver in the ponds, are some of the many things you can see. Take time to read the information plaques along the way.
In our excitement to place the cache, we forgot to include a copy of the Geocache letter. Could someone who goes on the hunt for the cache please drop a copy of the letter in? Otherwise, I'll visit the cache next week to include one.
