Geocache Description:

You are looking for an OD green Army-issue Decon container, holding a log and small items for trade. This cache is super-easy and great for kids--use the hint only as a last resort (it's a dead givaway).

This area is now home to a landmark of Thousand Oaks, the old "eyebrows on a hill" city hall, before city municipalities and government moved to the Civic Arts Plaza building. Once you've found the cache, take a moment to look around and enjoy the scenery. There are few remaining areas left undeveloped in Thousand Oaks that have such a great view!

We adopted this cache from Kurdt Green, who was no longer able to keep it active. It was formerly known as Kurdt Cobain, and was #1 of a three-part caching excursion. As always, excercise care caching in this area, as many critters can easily surprise you in spots like this. Happy caching!
