Geocache Description:

Meet at restaurant or park. Some of us will have lunch at 12:00 at N 29 16.780 by W 081 05.000. The actual event will begin at 1:00 at Central Park North in Ormond Beach.

This is a chance for geokids to meet, play, and talk about how to make "kid-friendly" caches. It will also be a chance to introduce families in the area to geocaching. There will be some caches specifically for the event (should be no problem for the kids to find with just a little help from mom and dad) as well as a chance to grab 2 in the park that are already there. My dad and I are planning on using plastic eggs for the event caches since there is a holiday right near this date. Everyone is welcome, but remember, this is a kids event so that we have a chance to yell, "I got FTF!"

The basic timetable is we will gather around 1 pm. We will have time to talk about geocaching, then we will build a cache. After that the door prizes will be awarded and the hunts will begin about 1:45. Prizes will be awarded at 3 for the first hunt and 4:30 for the second.

There will be two hunts available. Each will have a series of caches that an pad your numbers.

Agent J's Easter Egg Hunt: A series of colorfl caches along the easier path. This run will be stroller friendly and easier for the young kids.

Agent K's Jungle Dash: A series of caches in higher terrain levels. These are for the older kids who like the forests and don't want to mess with technicalities like... paths.

Those of you without children are still welcome. We might pair the experienced cachers with newbies to the sport.

Thanks to the people at Sonic Holly Hill, Burger King, and Domino's Pizza for the door prizes.
