Winter friendly cache in a small tobacco container with a number of
small trading items, an automatic pencil and a log book.
Shediac Island has an interesting history. A visit to the Island

Be careful going over the ice to the island in winter months.
Many people snowshoe and ski to the island and many more go over in
snowmobiles.
In summer be sure to bring lots of bug repellent. If you do not
have access to a boat to get you to the island, there is a regular
shuttle in summer months that brings you to the dock, close to the
beaches and the nature trails
