Not The Ponderosa but as close as this family ever came.
New Mexico has always had a stong pull on our family. My sister has now settled in Carrazozo and she could not resist owning a piece of New Mexico's vastness. Located on a large ranch that was subdivided by a real estate developer, Annie's ranchitto is part of her dreams. Turn west at the Ancho intersection on Rt. 54. Follow Windmill Rd and it will take you to the front of Annie's ranchitto, just about 7 miles from the paved road. Windmill road does have one left hand turn at an intersection so watch the street signs. The cache is near the back property line, about .4 miles from the road. Not much to hide an ammo can with so it should be easy once you get there, but it's not near anything. That's the reason for the 3.0. It's not tough, just remote.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Annie's ranchitto.
