History is great. We can learn a lot from it and appreciation for modern conveniences is an example of this.
Years ago there were no computers. (No, really!) And methods of communication were archaic by today's standards.
Step back in time and imagine this area before buses and planes; before the "Great War". Picture the train station bustling with the activity of horse drawn carriages and Model A's clacking down the cobblestone. The train whistle signalling its impending departure to the excited passengers travelling to different destinations.
Nearby stands a structure that doesn't look like much today. It stands as a reminder of a technicalogical step in our past. (It should also give us an appreciation of how much we take our Cellphones for granted!) [;-)]
