Geocache Description:

It's been a good day if a person learns something new.

This is a four-stage multi in one of my favorite areas of Southern Idaho.  Few people know that there was a platted town of 1500 people here with a bank, saloons, a large hotel, and all the other businesses that come with a turn-of -the-century western town.  Take the time to learn more of the history of this unique area.

1st Stage. The coordinates listed take you to the first stage.  You need to find James and S. LaNora  Presler and note the year of birth for each of them.

James' year = ABCD
LaNora's year = WXYZ

2nd Stage. Spend some time looking around stage 2.  You are looking for a very strong magnet with the coords for the third stage written on it.  Coordinates to the second stage are    42 31.FGH    114. 00.RST   where

F = X - C + A
G = Y - C
H = C
R = X
S = C - W
T = B + Y - C

3rd Stage. You are looking for another magnet with the coords for the final stage written in it.

4th Stage. The cache. I call it the "Box-o-Rocks".  It is an ammo can with a log book and a variety of rocks (mostly minerals actually).  Some are polished some are not.  Contents include slabs of agate, petrified wood, amethyst, cut geodes, horn coral fossil, tumbled stones, green copper mineral, obsidian, and a few others.  You are welcome to trade anything you want but if you trade a stone just make it something interesting.  Don't just throw a chunk of basalt in.  I will restock the stones on a regular basis.

NOTE: The hints for each stage are pretty specific until I know that the coords are on. Let me know if you think they are off a little.
