Geocache Description:

The cache is located right off of US 23 and can easily be reached, it is less than 100 ft. from the car.

I chose to put this cache here, 1. Because of the educational information 2. It is on the state line.

While you are at this cache you should have a look around and take some pictures, you may learn a thing or two. Any pictures posted would be greatly appreciated. Except any that reveal the cache location.

Lt. Daniel Webster Dotson was a veteran of the Korean War, he was the second highest decorated soldier in Virginia, he was Wise Countys most highly decorated soldier in the Korean War. There is a memorial for Daniel Webster Dotson at the cache location.

The cache is an altoid can, be sure to place the cache back well and out of sight.
