Although the hike on this can be short (based on where you park), the terrain can be a bit tricky...especially if it's rained recently. Given that we hate briars and thorns so much, we opted to find a spot where they wouldn't be so heavy, but there could be a few in the area, so please be forewarned. Also, I've not been around long enough to know the tick population in this area, so in the springtime, please take extra care.
This is the first cache hidden by my kids and myself. I hope you enjoy searching for it as much as we enjoyed hiding it. I live in the neighborhood and will be able to check on it often, so please feel free to email me if you think it needs attention.
This is a log-only cache. Please bring a pencil or pen, as I couldn't fit one in the container. That's not to say that this is so small that one wouldn't fit...it just means that I wasn't able to find a pencil sharpener to grind one down to the right size.
Finally, if you email me before you come, I can sit on my front porch with a beer and laugh at you trying to find this. If you're a good sport about it (and over 21), then I may offer you one, too.
