Pack you binoculars and bird field guide. You're in for a treat.
This cache has been placed to introduce everyone to a great birding spot. Tons of waterfowl visit this area while migrating north and south. Depending on the time of year, you can find grebes, cormorants, mergansers, Canada geese, white pelicans, gulls, and many species of ducks to numerous to mention. Of couse, many other birds can be found here too.
When you log your find on this website, be sure to let all your fellow cachers know what species of birds you spied while visiting.
Now for a couple of rules. Dogs must be on leashes between April 1 and August 15 to protect nesting waterfowl. No hunting here. It is prohibited.
