Geocache Description:

NOTE: This series will be archived sometime this winter by year's end.

This is the first of a series of six mathematically based caches in the O’Fallon area. The cache is NOT located at the above coordinates! All caches are located in City of O’Fallon Parks. They may be in areas you are unfamiliar with but they are all on city property.

First, you will need to solve the puzzle below to get the real coordinates of the cache. Second, when you head out to find the cache you MUST park in a park’s parking lot as it is the best method to access all caches in this series. Third, when you find the cache you will find a number and a letter on the first page or cover of the logbook. You will want to write this down so that you can find the bonus cache when you have found all six in the series. Good luck!

The coordinates are listed below. All you have to do is follow the path from the upper left to the final answer in the lower right corner. You cannot cross your line and you cannot use a box more than once. The coordinates will require that you pass through 7 number boxes including the first yellow 3 but NOT including the last 14. For you mathematical purists, do each operation as you pass it, not according to the order of operations. The coordinates you solve for may seem a little funny, but rest assured this is located in an O’Fallon Park. Please park in the parking lot that is due south of these coordinates. Do not approach from neighboring subdivisions as there is no public access.
