Aldo's Run Traditional Cache

Park at N46.58.095 W120.38.732.  The cache is located about 1.5 miles up the Manastash Ridge "Book Trail."  This is a faily steep hike.  If you stay on the trail it will go within 200 feet of the cache near the top of the ridge.

This cache is a tribute to Ellensburg Police Service Dog (K-9) "Aldo."  Aldo served Ellensburg, and Kittitas County as a Police K-9 from 1995 to 2000, when he was forced into retirement by a back injury.  Aldo later died in 2005.  This cache is for all of the dog lovers who hike the Manastash Ridge with their K-9 companions, or anyone who likes to hike.
