Julia Child - the only woman I've ever witnessed smashing a huge
pork bone across a table and proclaiming the small cast-off bits
could be nibbled on by "the children". Whether this meant
pet-children or the human variety I'll never know as she always
threw caution to the wind regarding which parts of an animal could
be eaten. Honey, she ate anything.
As a tribute to Julia, this cache is hidden near one of my
favorite Atlanta restaurants.
To start this cache off I've included some recipes handed down
through generations of my family, some from my travels and some
that I've discovered on my own. (Vegetarian recepies included, this
is NOT strictly a meat cache!).
The cache is a small, air-tight container that will only hold
standard 3x5 index cards. (You can bring something larger but make
sure it will fold to fit).
Watch out for muggles as this cache is in view of the
restaurant's patio. Please feel free to stop in for a meal if it is
open. The food is fabulous. The area is interesting if you want to
drive around a bit. I find the restaurant's name quite clever too
as this is floodplain.
Parking coordinates are: N33 48.409. W084 20.631. Note the
hedge.
Enjoy! :-)
Update: 03/05/05 - Be warned, this IS floodplain, as I stated
before, so be prepared for a messy find (and a mess much like
baking) if it has been raining recently, ok?
