Geocache Description:

Take exit 172 from Hwy 58. Find the frontage road and take the dirt road at the end of the frontage road.

Watch the movie The Right Stuff. In the movie you will see the Happy Bottom Riding Club in a lot of the scenes. During the end of the movie the Club burns down. This site is neat because you can actually see it before it burns in the movie, then experience it today. Really this is not the location of the Happy Bottom Riding Club, that is located on Edwards Air Force Base. This site use to be some kind of motel facility and was used to make the movie, then burned down at the end. Does anyone know what this site use to be? Please find out someone!!!!!!

New Update May 8. Don't go down into the basement without a flashlight. Would not recommend that trip to anyone....very spooky and remember snakes like cool dark places!
