A four (4) part multi-cache. The final cache container is locked with a combination lock. Your mission, should you accept is to find the combination, unlock the box, and claim your prize. At each stage you will get one (1) number to the combination lock as well as getting closer to the final cache.
At each stage record your number. You will need three numbers (one at each stage, excluding final) to open the lock on the final cache. The numbers for the combination lock are the original numbers found, not the manipulated numbers that are used to get you to the next set of coordinates.
Stage 1: The above-posted coordinates will get you to the location of the first number. These coordinates will take you to a parking lot. For safety don’t stop on the road. Look for the green sign near the coordinates. How far is Bethlehem?
Find the number and write it down.
Stage 2: Take the number you just recorded at stage 1, multiply it times itself and add it to N40 39.755 also add it to W75 16.041
These coordinates will take you to another parking lot. Park in an available parking spot and locate the drive thru. What is the clearance in feet? Record your number.
Stage 3: Take the number you just recorded at stage 2, multiply it by 5, and add it to N40 38.817 also add it to W75 16.161 These coordinates will take you to parking at the end of a cul-de-sac.
**This part of stage 3 has been edited as of 2/17/05. My original clue was run over.**
Look for the large rocks placed to keep vehicles off the bike trail. How many are there? Record this number. **UPDATED AGAIN 6/28/07 Note to future cachers - there is now significant ambiguity at site three in counting the large rocks; count only those that are immediately next to the path.
Stage 4: Stay parked at the cul-de-sac; it’s time for a walk. You now have the three numbers to the combination. Add the three (3) combination numbers together, multiply by 2 and add them to N40 38.706 W75 16.307 These coordinates will take you to the locked container.
Contents include logbook pencil and assorted trade items. Please re-hide it well before you leave.
